KVPY 2017 - National level fellowship programme in Basic Sciences called KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) to be conducted by Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore on November 5, 2017.

Candidates need to fulfill eligibility criteria of KVPY 2017 to be qualified for seeking fellowships. Through KVPY fellowship exam, the monthly stipend is provided to candidates who pursue their studies in Basic Sciences till pre-Ph.D. level.

Candidates pursuing an undergraduate degree in Basic Sciences such as B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./Int. M.S. in different science subjects are only eligible to apply

IISc Bangalore has released application form of KVPY in online mode only. The KVPY 2017 application form has begun from July 16, and candidates need to apply before August 23 for seeking fellowship through KVPY 2017. The candidates must go through instructions and eligibility criteria before filling up the KVPY application form 2017. Candidates applying for KVPY 2017 also need to remit an application fee of INR 1000 for General and OBC category, INR 500 if belonging to SC/ST/PWD category.
